Dr. Jian Fei is currently the chief surgeon of the Department of General Surgery of Ruijin Hospital, master’s tutor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.

He studied under the guidance of renowned Chinese surgeons Professor Zhang Shengdao and Professor Jiang Yu. Shanghai Ruijin Hospital (Tertiary Hospital) enjoys high reputation at home and abroad and has won national science and technology awards many times. Since he started practice in 1996, Mr. Fei has been engaged in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of biliary, pancreatic, thyroid and surface tumors for many years. Especially in the surgical treatment of thyroid tumors, comprehensive treatment of severe acute pancreatitis, and surgery for benign and malignant pancreatic tumors. It has accumulated rich clinical experience in the minimally invasive treatment of resection and gallstones, and is widely praised by patients.

In terms of scientific research, Dr. Fei Jian pays special attention to basic research on severe acute pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer and gallstone disease, and has published more than 50 papers (including more than 40 articles in SCI).

He has won the China Medical Science and Technology Award, Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award, Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award.

In recent years, with the cooperation with the Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Mechanical and Power, he studied abdominal cavity single hole surgery robot. In terms of cooperation research, he published several papers related to EI, and won more than 10 national patents and the second prize of Shanghai Invention Innovation Award of Shanghai Invention Innovation Competition. He received a number of national and municipal research funds in the field of severe acute pancreatitis and surgical robot research.

In addition, he has served as a member of the editorial boards of several magazines, a jury member of several medical research funds, and a member of a national academic group.
